Record_n_Destroy is a rjdj-scene which lets you record sound(loops) of the enviroment, and 'destroy' them with more or less drastic effects.

press and hold the red buttons to record. press (and hold) other buttons and twist/tilt to apply more or less destructive fx, use the blue buttons for delay,reverb and resonantors (shake for new chord).

"as-is"-version made on the musichackday in berlin. not quite what i wanted to make, but already fun to use, though a bit tricky to use.

A multitouch music synthesizer and visualizer that looks like Twitter.

Using Snow Leopard, new MacBook's multitouch trackpad, Quartz composer, OSC and Chuck, it can track up to 11 fingers, make independently synthesized sounds for each touch and display it in a nice view of birds and clouds, so your visual brain can relax while your musical brain tries to process the distorted noise it makes ;-)

!!!this is an ongoing experiment with the vision to create software that makes you forget you are interacting with a computer and enables you to create intricate audiovisual compositions on the fly, with the interface being the composition itself.

The current state is a basic nodal sequencer which allows you to draw curved timelines on a 2D grid with their playback depending on the connections between several lines into a more complex structure. 
At this time, there is a displacement function built in which does not affect playback yet, however makes it look pretty trippy. It is not making sound by itself, rather triggering anything that listens to MIDI or OSC.

I've made a Wordpress plugin that gives you a shortcode to use in blog posts for embedding information about an RjDj scene.

!The Xylobot 
!!About the hack
The Xylobot is an Arduino-controlled Xylophone, capable of handling Midi-input. We hooked 6 servo-motors up to an Arduino running a custom firmware, a java application manages the handling of the incoming midi data and sends serial commands to the board.
